ICC Test Rankings: भारतीय कप्तान शुभमन गिल को अफगानिस्तान के खिलाफ इकलौते टेस्ट में शतक लगाने का फायदा हुआ है। वो बुधवार को जारी आईसीसी की बल्लेबाजों की टेस्ट रैंकिंग में दो पायदान चढ़कर 8वें स्थान पर आ गए हैं। यशस्वी जायसवाल को एक स्थान का नुकसान हुआ है। वो 9वें स्थान पर आ गए हैं। ऋषभ पंत को भी एक पायदान का फायदा हुआ है। नंबर-1 बैटर की अगर बात करें तो जो रूट की बादशाहत खत्म हो गई है।
इंग्लैंड के युवा बल्लेबाज हैरी ब्रूक फिर टेस्ट क्रिकेट के नंबर-1 बल्लेबाज बन गए। ब्रूक ने साथी खिलाड़ी जो रूट को पीछे छोड़कर शीर्ष स्थान हासिल कर लिया। न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ लॉर्ड्स टेस्ट में खेली गई उनकी अहम पारी ने उन्हें फिर से दुनिया का नंबर-1 टेस्ट बल्लेबाज बना दिया।

ब्रूक की यही पारी उन्हें आईसीसी टेस्ट बल्लेबाजी रैंकिंग में फिर से नंबर-1 बनाने के लिए काफी साबित हुई। उन्होंने जो रूट को पीछे छोड़ दिया, जो इस मैच में दोनों पारियों में सिर्फ 1 और 8 रन ही बना सके। ब्रूक इससे पहले दिसंबर 2024 में पहली बार टेस्ट रैंकिंग के शीर्ष पर पहुंचे थे।
ताजा रैंकिंग में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के ट्रैविस हेड दूसरे स्थान पर पहुंच गए हैं, जबकि जो रूट तीसरे नंबर पर खिसक गए। अब 17 जून से द ओवल में होने वाले दूसरे टेस्ट में रूट के पास वापसी का मौका होगा। इंग्लैंड के बेन डकेट तीन स्थान ऊपर चढ़कर 15वें, जेमी स्मिथ पांच स्थान ऊपर जाकर संयुक्त 23वें और न्यूजीलैंड के ग्लेन फिलिप्स 15 स्थान की लंबी छलांग लगाकर 40वें स्थान पर पहुंच गए हैं।
बुमराह अभी भी नंबर-1 गेंदबाज
वनडे रैंकिंग में पाकिस्तान के स्पिनर अबरार अहमद ने शानदार उछाल लगाई। ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ सीरीज में 6 विकेट लेने के बाद वह दो स्थान ऊपर चढ़कर दुनिया के दूसरे नंबर के वनडे गेंदबाज बन गए। उनके साथी शाहीन अफरीदी भी चार स्थान ऊपर चढ़कर नौवें नंबर पर पहुंच गए।
इसके अलावा ऑस्ट्रेलिया के नाथन एलिस, बांग्लादेश के नाहिद राणा, श्रीलंका के कुसल मेंडिस और जनिथ लियानागे को भी रैंकिंग में फायदा हुआ। कुल मिलाकर आईसीसी की नई रैंकिंग में कई खिलाड़ियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन का इनाम पाया है, लेकिन सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा हैरी ब्रूक के नंबर-1 बनने की हो रही।
