A massive fire broke out at the PIMS hospital in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Wednesday morning. The fire erupted in the gynecology ward where newborn babies were being treated. Initial reports said 15 newborns died, while later official figures confirmed 14 deaths. A short circuit has been cited as an initial possible cause, while reports also point to an AC compressor malfunction.
