ऑस्ट्रेलिया की दिग्गज ऑलराउंडर एलिस पेरी ने क्रिकेट इतिहास में एक और सुनहरा अध्याय जोड़ दिया। महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 में नीदरलैंड्स के खिलाफ मुकाबले में उतरते ही पेरी टी20 विश्व कप के इतिहास में 50 मैच खेलने वाली पहली क्रिकेटर बन गईं। खास बात यह है कि उन्होंने यह उपलब्धि मेंस और वुमेंस दोनों वर्गों को मिलाकर हासिल की।
35 साल की पेरी लंबे समय से ऑस्ट्रेलियाई क्रिकेट की पहचान रही हैं। उन्होंने 2008 में महज 17 साल की उम्र में टी20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में डेब्यू किया था। इसके बाद से वह लगातार ऑस्ट्रेलिया की सफलता का अहम हिस्सा बनी हुईं। अपनी प्रतिभा, निरंतरता के दम पर पेरी ने खुद को दुनिया के सर्वश्रेष्ठ ऑलराउंडरों में शामिल किया है।

पेरी का टी20 विश्व कप सफर भी बेहद शानदार रहा। वह 2009 में शुरू हुए पहले महिला टी20 विश्व कप से लेकर अब तक हर संस्करण में ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम का हिस्सा रही हैं। इस दौरान ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने 6 बार खिताब जीता और इन सफलताओं में पेरी की भूमिका बेहद महत्वपूर्ण रही।
आंकड़ों पर नजर डालें तो पेरी टूर्नामेंट के इतिहास की तीसरी सबसे सफल गेंदबाज हैं। उन्होंने टी20 विश्व कप में 42 विकेट हासिल किए हैं। उनका गेंदबाजी औसत 17.16 का रहा है, जबकि सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन 3 विकेट पर 12 रन है। बल्लेबाजी में भी उन्होंने टीम को कई अहम मौकों पर संभाला और अब तक 559 रन बना चुकी हैं।
एलिस पेरी के नाम एक और ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि दर्ज है। वह मेंस और महिला क्रिकेट को मिलाकर टी20 इंटरनेशनल में 1000 रन और 100 विकेट का डबल पूरा करने वाली पहली खिलाड़ी हैं। यही वजह है कि उन्हें आधुनिक क्रिकेट के सबसे प्रभावशाली ऑलराउंडर्स में गिना जाता।
अपने 50वें टी20 विश्व कप मैच के बारे में बात करते हुए पेरी ने कहा कि वह इस उपलब्धि पर यकीन नहीं कर पा रही हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम का हिस्सा बनना हमेशा खास रहा है और हर विश्व कप का अनुभव अलग और यादगार रहा है। उनके मुताबिक, इतने लंबे समय तक टीम के लिए खेलना उनके लिए गर्व और सौभाग्य की बात है।
पेरी की यह उपलब्धि सिर्फ एक व्यक्तिगत रिकॉर्ड नहीं है, बल्कि महिला क्रिकेट के विकास और उसमें उनकी असाधारण भूमिका का भी प्रतीक है। आने वाले वर्षों में इस रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ना किसी भी खिलाड़ी के लिए आसान नहीं होगा।
