News18Animal Husbandry: भीषण गर्मी का असर केवल इंसानों पर ही नहीं, बल्कि पशुओं की सेहत पर भी साफ दिखाई दे रहा है. इस मौसम में जूं, चिमक्कन और किलनी जैसे खून चूसने वाले बाहरी परजीवी तेजी से फैल रहे हैं, जिससे पशुओं को गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. ये परजीवी पशुओं की त्वचा से चिपककर लगातार खून चूसते हैं, जिसके कारण उनकी शारीरिक क्षमता कमजोर होने लगती है और दूध उत्पादन में भी गिरावट आती है.सीधी स्थित पशु चिकित्सालय में सहायक शल्यज्ञ डॉ. वीरेंद्र विक्रम सिंह के अनुसार गर्मी के दिनों में इन परजीवियों का प्रकोप काफी बढ़ जाता है. कई मामलों में हर तीन महीने के अंतराल पर इनका हमला देखा जाता है. समय पर उपचार न मिलने पर पशुओं को बुखार, कमजोरी, त्वचा संक्रमण और अन्य गंभीर बीमारियां हो सकती हैं. लगातार लापरवाही बरतने पर पशुओं की जान तक खतरे में पड़ सकती है. उन्होंने बताया कि पशु चिकित्सालयों में मात्र 10 रुपये की ओपीडी पर्ची पर पशुओं की जांच की जाती है. साथ ही जूं, चिमक्कन और किलनी से बचाव के लिए आवश्यक दवाएं निशुल्क उपलब्ध कराई जाती हैं, जिससे पशुपालकों को कम खर्च में बेहतर इलाज की सुविधा मिल रही है.
