आईसीसी के फैसले के बाद, आईसीसी के अल्टीमेटम के बाद, चेतावनी देने के बाद मोहसीन नकवी जिस तरह की भाषा बोल रहे थे उस पर तो लगाम लग गई है। पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड पीसीबी बैकफुट पर आता नजर आ रहा है। T20 वर्ल्ड कप के को लेकर उन्होंने अपनी टीम भी अनाउंस कर दी। लेकिन इस टीम के पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान शाहिद अफरीदी हमेशा की तरह आदतन जिस तरह के वो बयान देते आ रहे हैं। कंउसी तरह का एक और ट्रोवर्शियल स्टेटमेंट् उन्होंने दे दिया है। उन्हें बड़ी जोर से गुस्सा आ गया और गुस्से में उन्होंने आईसीसी को लेकर बयान दिया है। उन्होंने एक्स पर पोस्ट किया है। लेकिन भारत में हम उनके पोस्ट नहीं देख सकते क्योंकि अकाउंट विद हेल्ड है क्योंकि वह जिस तरह के बयानबाजी इंडिया के अगेंस्ट करते रहे हैं तो इंडिया में तो उनका अकाउंट बैन है।
शाहिद आफरीदी ने कहा कि आईसीसी ने डबल स्टैंडर्ड दिखाया है। बांग्लादेश के साथ और बांग्लादेश के लोगों के साथ। यह अन्याय है। आईसीसी की दोहरे मापदंड की आलोचना करते हुए कहा कि आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 के दौरान भारत को दुबई में अपने मैच खेलने की अनुमति दी गई थी। अफरीदी ने एक्स पर लिखा, बांग्लादेश और आईसीसी प्रतियोगिताओं में खेल चुके एक पूर्व अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेटर के रूप में मैं आईसीसी की असंगतता से बेहद निराश हूं। इसने 2025 में पाकिस्तान का दौरा न करने के लिए भारत की सुरक्षा चिंताओं को स्वीकार किया, फिर भी बांग्लादेश के मामले में वही समझ दिखाने को तैयार नहीं दिख रहा है। वैश्विक क्रिकेट प्रशासन की नींव निरंतरता और निष्पक्षता पर टिकी है। बांग्लादेश के खिलाड़ी और उसके लाखों प्रशंसक सम्मान के पात्र हैं न कि मिश्रित मापदंडों के। आईसीसी को संबंध सुधारने चाहिए, न कि उन्हें नष्ट करना चाहिए।
पाकिस्तान का दर्द यह नहीं है कि बांग्लादेश खेलने आ रहा है कि नहीं आ रहा है। वो बस किसी तरह से भारत पर टारगेट करना चाहते हैं क्योंकि जो चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में उनके साथ हुआ है कि जो एक कहावत चलती आ रही थी आप सब ने देखा होगा। कैसे चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में ये भारत वाले हमारे यहां नहीं आते हैं। यह सब बात शुरुआत हुई है 2023 ओडीआई वर्ल्ड कप से जब वहां पे टीम इंडिया ने टीम इंडिया आना आने की बात हुई थी कि भारत आना है पाकिस्तान ने कहा था हम नहीं आएंगे फिर ICC ने हड़काया और उसके बाद एकदम चुपचाप चले आए और उसके बाद वेलकम हुआ बहुत खुश भी हुए बहुत मेहमान नवाजी हुई।
