Dainik Bhaskarनगालैंड के तुएनसांग जिले में पिछले तीन दिनों में जहरीली शराब पीने से नौ लोगों की मौत हो गई, जिनमें एक ही परिवार के तीन सदस्य भी शामिल हैं। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि शराब पीने के बाद कुछ लोगों को सांस लेने में तकलीफ हुई और बाद में उनकी मौत हो गई। घटनाओं की जानकारी मिलने के बाद तुएनसांग पुलिस ने शहर और चेंदांग सैडल इलाके में व्यापक तलाशी और छापेमारी अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान कई जगहों से शराब के पाउच, करीब 470 बोतल IMFL (इंडियन मेड फॉरेन लिकर) और बीयर के कैन जब्त किए गए। शराब बेचने वाले परिवार के एक सदस्य ने फांसी लगाई पुलिस के मुताबिक, तुएनसांग शहर और चेंदांग सैडल गांव में 10 और 11 सितंबर को मौतों की घटनाएं सामने आईं। शनिवार को तुएनसांग सिविल अस्पताल में भर्ती लोगों की मौत का पैटर्न सामने आने के बाद पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू की। बयान में कहा गया है कि शुरुआती जांच के आधार पर सभी मौतों का शराब पीने से सीधा संबंध है और उसी के अनुसार जांच की जा रही है। वहीं, इस घटना के बाद शराब बेचने वाले परिवार के एक सदस्य ने फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली है। उसकी मौत के कारणों की अलग से जांच की जा रही है। शराब पीने के बाद सभी की तबीयत बिगड़ी जांच में सामने आया कि मृतकों में से ज्यादातर ने तबीयत बिगड़ने से पहले शराब पी थी। इसके बाद उन्हें धुंधला दिखाई देना, तेज सिरदर्द, चक्कर, जी मिचलाना और उल्टी जैसी समस्याएं हुईं। परिवार वालों ने इन्हें अस्पताल में एडमिट करवाया, जहां इलाज के दौरान ये मौतें हुईं। इस घटना के सामने आने के बाद राज्य पुलिस ने रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है और लोगों से अनजान या अनधिकृत स्रोतों से मिली शराब न पीने की अपील की है। पुलिस अब यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि संदिग्ध शराब कहां से आई। क्योंकि, नागालैंड में नगालैंड लिकर टोटल प्रोहिबिशन एक्ट 1989 के तहत शराब रखने, बिक्री, पीने और प्रोडक्शन पर प्रतिबंध है। --------------------- ये खबर भी पढ़ें… MP में जहरीली शराब से 2 दिन में 12 मौतें:जहर इतना कि शरीर नीले पड़े, 109 भर्ती; सागर में 5 अधिकारी सस्पेंड, 30 पर FIR मध्य प्रदेश के सागर में जहरीली शराब पीने से अब तक 12 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। इनमें 3 की मौत शनिवार देर रात हुई थी। फिलहाल 109 मरीज अस्पतालों में भर्ती हैं। कई मरीजों के शरीर नीले पड़ गए हैं। पूरी खबर पढ़ें…
Donald Trump dismisses AI warnings saying his goal is beating China
BBC NewsDonald Trump has brushed aside the risks posed by artificial intelligence following days of dire warnings by experts. "You have a lot of very negative forces that are bringing it up that shouldn't be bringing it up and they're bringing up things that won't happen," Trump said during a visit to Ireland. One of the warnings came from a former Anthropic researcher who said "there is a strong chance that we could all die in the immediate future" if the current pace of development continued. Some of the AI industry's biggest companies agreed, with their bosses supporting a slow-down. Trump did not directly address the idea, but said: "We're leading China on AI... and, frankly, I want to keep it that way because whoever wins AI, wins." Trump spoke on the same day AI researcher Jacob Coxon - who quit Anthropic a few days ago - told the BBC that staff who were developing the systems were "genuinely frightened" for the future of humanity. Coxon – who has also worked at OpenAI – welcomed the idea of a slowdown but said it would need to be co-ordinated with China. On Saturday, Elon Musk, owner of xAI, and Sam Altman of OpenAI, backed a warning from the head of Anthropic, Dario Amodei, that the pace of development must be slowed "to reduce the risk that something goes seriously wrong".
