The water level in Maharaja Pratap Lake in Hoshiarpur has reached near the danger mark. 1 lakh 48 thousand cusecs of water was released from the Pong Dam into the Beas river, after which many farmers who went to work on the banks of the river got trapped in the rapid flow of water.Punjab Flood: हिमाचल प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में हो रही बारिश के बाद पंजाब में भी बाढ़ जैसे हालात बन गए हैं. होशियारपुर में महाराजा प्रताप झील में जलस्तर ख़तरे के निशान के करीब पहुंच गया है. पोंग डैम से 1 लाख 48 हज़ार क्यूसेक पानी ब्यास नदी में छोड़ा गया था जिसके बाद नदी के किनारे काम करने गए कई किसान पानी के तेज़ बहाव के बीच फंस गए.
