News18Slipper Business Success Tips: जब एक भयानक बाइक हादसे में जहानाबाद के देवकांत पांडे का पैर क्षतिग्रस्त हुआ, तो मुंबई की निजी कंपनी ने उन्हें नौकरी से निकाल दिया. लेकिन इस मुश्किल वक्त ने उनके लिए एक नया रास्ता खोल दिया. रिश्तेदार के यहाँ स्लीपर (चप्पल) बनते देख देवकांत को अपने गांव बभना में ही बिजनेस शुरू करने का विचार आया. पैसे की तंगी आड़े आई तो उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं हारी. देवकांत ने जहानाबाद उद्योग विभाग से संपर्क किया और PMEGP योजना के तहत ₹10 लाख का लोन लिया, जिस पर ₹2.5 लाख की सब्सिडी मिली. वर्ष 2022 में घर के एक छोटे से कमरे से शुरू हुआ यह सफर आज पटना और जहानाबाद के 50 से अधिक बाजारों तक पहुंच चुका है. होलसेल रेट पर चप्पल सप्लाई करने के साथ-साथ अब वे पत्तल-दोना मेकिंग मशीन भी चला रहे हैं. देवकांत का सालाना टर्नओवर ₹5 लाख तक पहुंच गया है और वे 5 अन्य लोगों को रोजगार भी दे रहे हैं.
