News18Karauli Hindi News: जंगली मुरेला एक मौसमी देसी सब्जी है, जिसे कई क्षेत्रों में करेला का छोटा भाई भी कहा जाता है. यह सब्जी मुख्य रूप से बरसात के मौसम में सीमित समय के लिए बाजार में दिखाई देती है और अपने औषधीय गुणों के कारण काफी पसंद की जाती है. स्वाद में हल्की कड़वाहट लिए यह सब्जी पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर मानी जाती है. ग्रामीण इलाकों में इसे पाचन सुधारने, शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने और रक्त शर्करा नियंत्रण में सहायक माना जाता है. इसकी सब्जी बनाने के लिए मुरेला को धोकर छोटे टुकड़ों में काटा जाता है और प्याज, टमाटर व मसालों के साथ भूनकर पकाया जाता है. कुछ लोग इसे कुरकुरा तलकर भी खाते हैं.
