It is not raining much in Punjab these days. But due to continuous rains in Himachal Pradesh, the rivers flowing in Punjab are also in spate. The water level of the Sutlej and Beas rivers increased, due to which flood-like conditions were created in many areas of Punjab. In Gurdas, the roads were filled with water and flood water also entered the residential areas. Flood-like conditions were also seen in Rupnagar and Mohali.Punjab Rain Flood: पहाड़ों पर हो रही बारिश का असर मैदानी इलाक़ों में भी दिखने लगा है. पंजाब में इन दिनों ज़्यादा बारिश नहीं हो रही है. लेकिन हिमाचल प्रदेश में लगातार हो रही बारिश की वजह से पंजाब में बहने वाली नदियां भी उफान पर है. सतलज और व्यास नदी का जलस्तर बढ़ गया जिसकी वजह से पंजाब के कई इलाक़ों में बाढ़ जैसे हालात बन गए. गुरदास में सड़कों पर पानी भर गया और रिहायशी इलाक़ों में भी बाढ़ का पानी घुस गया. रूपनगर और मोहाली में भी बाढ़ जैसे हालात देखने को मिले.

At one place in Dehradun, 9 houses collapsed due to landslide. Apart from the houses, 7 cow shelters were also destroyed. As soon as the information was received, the rescue team immediately reached the accident site. However, it is a matter of pride that no one lost his life in this accident.Uttarakhand Alert: उत्तराखंड की राजधानी देहरादून में भी मूसलाधार बारिश के बाद अलग अलग जगह से ज़मीन खिसकने की घटनाएं सामने आई। देहरादून में एक जगह तो ज़मीन खिसकने से 9 मकान ढह गए। मकानों के अलावा 7 गौशालाएं भी ध्वस्त हो गईं। जिसकी सूचना मिलते ही रेस्क्यू टीम फ़ौरन हादसे वाली जगह पहुंच गई। हालांकि गनीमत रही कि इस हादसे में किसी की जान नहीं गई।
