आईपीएल 2026 में शानदार शुरुआत करने वाली पंजाब किंग्स की टीम इन दिनों मुश्किल दौर से गुजर रही हैं। शुरुआती सात मुकाबलों में अजेय रहने के बाद टीम लगातार चार मैच हार चुकी हैं। हालांकि इसके बावजूद पंजाब किंग्स अभी भी प्लेऑफ की दौड़ में बनी हुई हैं। इसी बीच टीम के युवा बल्लेबाज प्रभसिमरन सिंह ने फैंस से खास अपील की है।
मौजूद जानकारी के अनुसार पंजाब किंग्स के बल्लेबाज प्रभसिमरन सिंह ने टीम के आधिकारिक सोशल मीडिया मंच पर एक वीडियो साझा किया, जिसमें उन्होंने समर्थकों से धर्मशाला में बड़ी संख्या में पहुंचकर टीम का समर्थन करने को कहा हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि टीम जरूर वापसी करेगी और ट्रॉफी जीतने का सपना अभी भी जिंदा हैं।
प्रभसिमरन सिंह ने कहा कि लगातार चार मुकाबले हारने के बावजूद पंजाब किंग्स अंक तालिका में चौथे स्थान पर बनी हुई हैं। उन्होंने भरोसा जताया कि टीम प्लेऑफ में जगह बनाएगी और खिताब जीतने के लिए पूरी ताकत लगाएगी। उन्होंने फैंस से अपील करते हुए कहा कि मुंबई इंडियंस के खिलाफ अगला मुकाबला बेहद अहम हैं और धर्मशाला का मैदान पंजाब के रंग में रंगा दिखना चाहिए ।
बता दें कि 25 वर्षीय प्रभसिमरन सिंह इस सीजन पंजाब किंग्स के सबसे अहम बल्लेबाजों में शामिल रहे हैं। उन्होंने अब तक 11 मुकाबलों में 382 रन बनाए हैं। हालांकि पिछले तीन मैचों में उनका प्रदर्शन उम्मीद के मुताबिक नहीं रहा हैं। गुजरात टाइटंस, सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद और दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के खिलाफ वह क्रमशः 15, 3 और 18 रन ही बना सके थे।
गौरतलब है कि पंजाब किंग्स ने अब तक 11 मुकाबलों में 6 जीत हासिल की हैं, जबकि 4 मैचों में हार का सामना करना पड़ा हैं। एक मुकाबला बेनतीजा भी रहा हैं। टीम फिलहाल अंक तालिका में चौथे स्थान पर मौजूद हैं। वहीं चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स और राजस्थान रॉयल्स जैसी टीमें भी प्लेऑफ की रेस में पंजाब के बेहद करीब पहुंच चुकी हैं।
मौजूद जानकारी के अनुसार अगर पंजाब किंग्स को मुंबई इंडियंस के खिलाफ अगले मुकाबले में हार मिलती हैं, तो टीम प्लेऑफ की शीर्ष चार टीमों से बाहर भी हो सकती हैं। ऐसे में धर्मशाला में होने वाला यह मुकाबला पंजाब के लिए करो या मरो जैसा माना जा रहा हैं।
