भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम में आईपीएल 2026 के बाद बड़ा बदलाव देखने को मिल सकता। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, श्रेयस अय्यर को टीम इंडिया का नया व्हाइट बॉल कप्तान बनाने पर गंभीरता से विचार चल रहा। कहा जा रहा है कि बीसीसीआई और चयन समिति अब वनडे और टी20 दोनों फॉर्मेट के लिए एक ही कप्तान चाहती और इस रेस में श्रेयस अय्यर सबसे आगे नजर आ रहे।
एनडीटीवी की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, सेलेक्शन कमेटी के प्रमुख अजीत अगरकर और बीसीसीआई के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी आने वाले आईसीसी टूर्नामेंट और अगले वनडे वर्ल्ड कप को ध्यान में रखते हुए नई रणनीति पर काम कर रहे हैं। इसी वजह से टीम की कप्तानी में बदलाव की चर्चा तेज हो गई।
श्रेयस वनडे और टी20 कप्तान बन सकते
बीसीसीआई के एक सूत्र ने बताया कि अगली टी20 टीम घोषित होने पर कुछ बड़े बदलाव देखने को मिल सकते। बोर्ड अब युवा खिलाड़ियों को मौके देने के साथ-साथ अनुभवी खिलाड़ियों पर भी भरोसा बनाए रखना चाहता है। सूत्र ने यह भी कहा कि चोटों की वजह से श्रेयस अय्यर को कई बार मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा, लेकिन उन्होंने हर बार शानदार वापसी की है।
सूर्यकुमार यादव की कप्तानी से हो सकती छुट्टी?
अगर यह फैसला होता है, तो मौजूदा टी20 कप्तान सूर्यकुमार यादव पर इसका असर पड़ सकता। सूर्यकुमार ने हाल ही में भारत को टी20 वर्ल्ड कप जिताया था और माना जा रहा था कि वह 2028 लॉस एंजेलिस ओलंपिक तक टीम की कप्तानी जारी रखना चाहते हैं। लेकिन उनकी हालिया फॉर्म और टीम मैनेजमेंट की नई सोच के चलते अब उनकी जगह खतरे में बताई जा रही।
गिल से भी वनडे कप्तानी छिन सकती
रिपोर्ट में संजू सैमसन का नाम भी चर्चा में बताया गया है। हालांकि फिलहाल सबसे मजबूत दावेदार श्रेयस अय्यर को ही माना जा रहा है। भारत की अगली अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीरीज 6 जून से अफगानिस्तान के खिलाफ एकमात्र टेस्ट मैच से शुरू होगी। इसके बाद तीन वनडे मैच खेले जाएंगे। फिर टीम आयरलैंड और इंग्लैंड दौरे पर जाएगी, जहां नई कप्तानी को लेकर तस्वीर और साफ हो सकती है।
