Due to this disaster, the critical road connectivity to the border region of Niti Valley has been entirely cut off from the rest of the world. A terrifying video of the incident has also surfaced, showing the sturdy iron bridge collapsing and sinking into the ferocious river within seconds. Along with the bridge, a JCB machine and several other vehicles parked nearby were washed away like straws in the powerful torrent.
