दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के खिलाफ विराट कोहली ने एकतरफा मुकाबले में नाबाद 23 रन बनाते ही इतिहास रच दिया। विराट ने अपनी 267वीं आईपीएल पारी में लीग के इतिहास के 9000 रन पूरे कर लिए। वह आईपीएल में इस मुकाम तक पहुंचने वाले एकमात्र खिलाड़ी हैं। उनके आसपास भी कोई इस लिस्ट में नहीं है। वहीं हिटमैन रोहित शर्मा दूसरे स्थान पर हैं।
कोहली का ये 257वां आईपीएल मुकाबला था। उन्होंने अपने 9000 रन छक्के के साथ पूरे किए। इतना ही नहीं इस पारी में विराट ने दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के खिलाफ भी 1172 न पूरे कर लिए। आईपीएल में किसी एक टीम के खिलाफ सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने के मामले में वह दूसरे नंबर पर भी पहुंच गए। इस मामले में पहले नंबर पर भी उनका कब्जा है और चेन्नई के खिलाफ उन्होंने सबसे ज्यादा 1174 रन बनाए हैं।
