आज आईपीएल 2026 का 33वां मुकाबला मुंबई इंडियंस और चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स के बीच मुंबई के वानखेड़े स्टेडियम में खेला जा रहा है। जहां हार्दिक पंड्या ने टॉस जीतकर सीएसके को पहले बल्लेबाजी का न्योता दिया है। वहीं इस मुकाबले में रोहित शर्मा और एमएस धोनी उपलब्ध नहीं है। बता दें कि, जहां रोहित शर्मा हैमस्ट्रिंग के कारण मुकाबले से बाहर चल रहे हैं वहीं धोनी भी पिंडली में खिंचाव के कारण अभी तक एक भी मैच नहीं खेल पाए हैं। मुंबई ने इस मुकाबले में अपनी प्लेइंग इलेवन में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है। जबकि चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने दो बदलाव किए हैं।
टॉस जीतने के बाद हार्दिक पंड्या ने कहा कि, हम पहले गेंदबाज़ी करेंगे। कई चीज़ें सही रहीं, जोश भी भरपूर था; हमें एक ऐसे मैच की ज़रूरत थी जिसमें हर कोई आकर अपना योगदान दे। हमने जान-बूझकर यह कोशिश की कि जोश हमारे अपने हाथ में रहे; हम बस मज़े करना चाहते थे और चीज़ें हमारे पक्ष में रहीं। पिच हरी दिख रही है, लेकिन यह बहुत अच्छी खेली। टीम वही रहेगी।
जबकि सीएसके के कप्तान ऋतुराज गायकवाड़ ने कहा कि, हम भी पहले गेंदबाज़ी ही करते। यह 50-50 का फ़ैसला था। वानखेड़े में आपको अच्छी बल्लेबाज़ी करनी पड़ती है। हम कुछ मौकों का फ़ायदा नहीं उठा पाए, हमें यह पक्का करना होगा कि हम उन मौकों का फ़ायदा उठाएं और जीत हासिल करें। हम पूरी तरह तैयार हैं। इसका सारा श्रेय उस महान खिलाड़ी को जाता है, जो बदकिस्मती से आज यहां मौजूद नहीं हैं। उम्मीद है कि आज रात हम उन्हें खुश कर पाएंगे। शॉर्ट की जगह वीर टीम में आए हैं।
