ICC Awards: मार्च महीने के लिए ICC प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ अवॉर्ड का ऐलान हो गया। भारत के स्टार बल्लेबाज संजू सैमसन और न्यूजीलैंड की ऑलराउंडर मेलि केर ने अपने शानदार प्रदर्शन के दम पर यह खिताब अपने नाम किया।
संजू सैमसन ने भारत में खेले गए टी20 विश्व कप 2026 में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया था। उन्होंने भारत को चैंपियन बनाने में अहम रोल निभाया था। उन्हें ‘प्लेयर ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट’ भी चुना गया था।
सैमसन को प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ चुना गया
उनकी इन पारियों की बदौलत भारत ने लगातार दूसरी बार टी20 वर्ल्ड कप जीता और पहली बार अपने घर में ट्रॉफी उठाई। सैमसन ने अवॉर्ड मिलने पर कहा कि यह उनके करियर का सबसे खास दौर है और टीम के भरोसे ने उन्हें बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने में मदद की।
मेलि केर का ऑलराउंड शो
टी20 इंटरनेशनल में भी केर ने कमाल किया। उन्होंने 276 रन बनाए और 6 विकेट लिए, जिससे न्यूजीलैंड ने दक्षिण अफ्रीका को 4-1 से हराया और केर को एक बार फिर प्लेयर ऑफ द सीरीज का खिताब मिला। यह उनका तीसरा ICC प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ अवॉर्ड है। इससे पहले वह फरवरी 2022 और अक्टूबर 2024 में भी यह सम्मान जीत चुकी हैं।
