5 बार की आईपीएल चैंपियन रही मुंबई इंडियंस के लिए आईपीएल का 19वां सीजन अभी तक निराशाजनक रहा है। टीम ने अभी तक तीसरी शिकस्त खाई है। रविवार को आरसीबी के खिलाफ मुकाबले में भी मुंबई इंडियंस को 18 रन से हार झेलनी पड़ी। इस हार से मुंबई इंडियंस के कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या भी काफी निराश हैं।
वहीं मैच के बाद मुंबई इंडियंस के ड्रेसिंग रूम का एक वीडियो सामने आया है जिसमें कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या टीम के साथियों को दो विकल्प दे रहे हैं। जिसमें कप्तान ने कहा कि या तो होटल के कमरे में जाकर अपने प्रदर्शन के बारे में सोचे या भी एकजुट होकर इसका सामना करें।
बता दें कि, आरसीबी ने वानखेड़े स्टेडियम पर पहले बल्लेबाजी करके 240 रन बनाए। जिसके जवाब में मुंबई 222 रन ही बना पाई। मुंबई के लिए शेरफेन रदरफोर्ड ने आरसीबी के गेंदबाजों का डटकर मुकाबला किया वह एकमात्र खिलाड़ी रहे जिन्होंने ऐसा किया।
वीडियो में हार्दिक पंड्या कहते हैं कि, मेरे ख्याल से हमारे पास दो विकल्प हैं। पहला कि हम अपने कमरे में जाएं और सोचे कि कमियों को कैसे दूर करें। मुझे पता है कि हारना मुश्किल है लेकिन चलिए सीखते हैं। चलिए हम गायब नहीं होते हैं और सीखते हैं। खेल हमेशा जीतने और सीखने के बारे में होता है हारने के बारे में कभी नहीं। तो चलिए ऐसा करते हैं। एक बार हम होटल लौटेंगे तो साथ में खाना खाएंगे। तब क्रिकेट की बात करेंगे या कुछ और बातें करेंगे, लेकिन हम अपनी कमियों का पता करेंगे।
वहीं कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या गेंदबाजी विभाग से खासे नाराज थे। उन्होंने स्वीकार किया कि जीत की राह पर लौटने के लिए बड़े बदलाव करने पड़ सकते हैं।
