Rashid khan: अफगानिस्तान के स्टार स्पिनर राशिद खान ने अपने क्रिकेट करियर को लंबा चलाने के लिए एक बड़ा फैसला लिया। उन्होंने माना है कि उन्हें टेस्ट क्रिकेट में अपनी मौजूदगी सीमित करनी पड़ रही है, ताकि वह लंबे समय तक अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट खेल सकें। 27 साल के राशिद अब साल में सिर्फ एक टेस्ट खेलने की रणनीति पर काम कर रहे।
राशिद ने खुलासा किया कि 2023 में लगी पीठ की चोट के बाद डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें रेड-बॉल क्रिकेट से दूरी बनाने की सलाह दी थी। इसके बावजूद उन्होंने जनवरी 2025 में जिम्बाब्वे के खिलाफ बुलावायो टेस्ट खेला। उस मुकाबले में उन्होंने 67 (या करीब 55) ओवर तक गेंदबाजी की, जिसे खुद राशिद ने पागलपन करार दिया।
उन्होंने बताया कि डॉक्टर ने साफ कहा था कि अगर वह टेस्ट क्रिकेट जारी रखते हैं तो उनका करियर छोटा हो सकता है। डॉक्टर ने कहा था कि अगर क्रिकेट खेलना है तो रेड-बॉल से दूर रहो, वरना लंबे समय तक नहीं खेल पाओगे। लेकिन मैंने उनकी बात नहीं मानी और टेस्ट खेला। जब उन्हें पता चला कि मैंने इतने ओवर डाले, तो वे हैरान रह गए
दरअसल, राशिद ने 2023 वर्ल्ड कप को ध्यान में रखते हुए अपनी चोट के समय सर्जरी कराने से इनकार कर दिया था, ताकि वह टीम के लिए खेल सकें। इस फैसले का असर उनकी गेंदबाजी पर पड़ा और उन्हें काफी दर्द भी झेलना पड़ा। अब वह अपने वर्कलोड को लेकर ज्यादा सतर्क हैं।
राशिद ने साफ संकेत दिए हैं कि वह भारत के खिलाफ 6 जून को होने वाले अगले टेस्ट मैच में शायद हिस्सा नहीं लेंगे। उन्होंने कहा, 'मैं इस साल एक टेस्ट खेल चुका हूं, अब थोड़ा आराम करूंगा। अगर इस दौरान फिर चोट लग गई तो मेरा करियर खत्म हो सकता है। मैं 100 टेस्ट नहीं खेल सकता, क्योंकि हम साल में एक ही टेस्ट खेलते हैं।'
फिलहाल राशिद का पूरा ध्यान आईपीएल 2026 पर है, जहां वह गुजरात टाइटंस के लिए खेल रहे हैं और तीन मैचों में पांच विकेट ले चुके हैं। इसके बाद उनकी नजर 2027 के वनडे वर्ल्ड कप पर है।
राशिद ने कहा कि वनडे क्रिकेट उन्हें पसंद है और वह इस फॉर्मेट में लंबे समय तक खेलना चाहते हैं, लेकिन इसके लिए वर्कलोड मैनेजमेंट जरूरी है। “टेस्ट क्रिकेट मेरे लिए मुश्किल होता जा रहा है। मैं कोशिश करूंगा, लेकिन साल में एक से ज्यादा टेस्ट खेलना संभव नहीं है।
2018 में टेस्ट डेब्यू करने वाले राशिद खान ने अब तक सिर्फ छह टेस्ट मैच खेले हैं, जिनमें उन्होंने 45 विकेट लिए हैं और उनका औसत 20.44 रहा है। यह आंकड़े उनके प्रभाव को दिखाते हैं, लेकिन अब वह अपने करियर को बचाने के लिए संतुलन बनाने पर ध्यान दे रहे हैं।
