[Pakistan Gains Bigger Role in Iran Crisis]
Amid S. Jaishankar’s comment that India is “not a broker country,” analysis suggests Pakistan’s role in the U.S.–Iran crisis has grown. America’s 15‑point peace plan was sent to Iran through Pakistan, elevating its strategic position. Pakistan’s border access, intelligence value, and recent deals with Washington have increased its influence. India appeared slow to engage Iran and is now reassessing how to convert its economic weight into geopolitical leverage.
