आईपीएल के 19वें सीजन का आगाज धमाकेदार रहा। जहां बेंगलुरु के एम चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम में आरसीबी और सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद के बीच पहला मुकाबला खेला गया। जिसे आरसीबी ने जीत लिया। बेंगलुरु की इस जीत के साथ ही तीन बड़े रिकॉर्ड बन गए। बता दें कि, आईपीएल में ये पहला मौका था जब किसी टीम ने 200 प्लस का स्कोर सबसे तेज चेज किया। इस मामले में आरसीबी ने राजस्थान रॉयल्स का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा है।
इसके अलावा दो और चेज के रिकॉर्ड आरसीबी ने अपने नाम कर लिए। इसमें आरसीबी ने चेज में कमाल किया तो विराट कोहली ने फिर साबित कर लिया कि, क्यों उन्हें चेजमास्टर कहते हैं। वहीं देवदत्त पडिक्कल औऱ कप्तान रजत पाटीदार ने बेहतरीन बल्लेबाजी की। हैदराबाद ने पहले खेलते हुए 201 रन बनाए जिसके जवाब में आरसीबी ने 15.4 ओवर में ही 203 रन बनाए और 6 विकेट से बेहतरीन जीत दर्ज की।
