Royal challengers bengaluru sale: आईपीएल इतिहास में एक और बड़ा रिकॉर्ड बन गया। रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु फ्रेंचाइजी को करीब 1.78 अरब डॉलर (लगभग 16,660 करोड़ रुपये) में एक बड़े कंसोर्टियम ने खरीद लिया। यह डील मौजूदा मालिक यूनाइटेड स्पिरिट्र्स लिमिटेड ने आधिकारिक तौर पर घोषित की।
इस कंसोर्टियम में आदित्य बिरला ग्रुप, टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया ग्रुप, बोल्ट वेंचर्स और ब्लैकस्टोन की BXPE रणनीति शामिल है। इस ऑल-कैश डील के बाद आरसीबी की पुरुष और महिला दोनों टीमें अब इस नए समूह के स्वामित्व और संचालन में होंगी।

नए कंसोर्टियम ने भी इस डील को लेकर उत्साह जताया है। उनके अनुसार, RCB की मजबूत ब्रांड पहचान, बेंगलुरु से गहरा जुड़ाव और दुनिया भर में फैला फैन बेस इसे एक खास फ्रेंचाइजी बनाता है। कंसोर्टियम ने कहा कि वे टीम को मैदान के अंदर और बाहर नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।
इस नए समूह में आर्यमन बिड़ला को चेयरमैन और सत्यन गजवानी को वाइस-चेयरमैन बनाया जाएगा। वहीं, यूएसएल के सीईओ प्रवीण सोमेश्वर ने कहा कि RCB आज आईपीएल और WPL की सबसे सफल और लोकप्रिय फ्रेंचाइजी में से एक बन चुकी है।
यह डील एक बार फिर दिखाती है कि भारतीय क्रिकेट और खासकर आईपीएल की आर्थिक ताकत लगातार बढ़ रही है और आने वाले समय में इसमें और तेजी देखने को मिल सकती है।
