उत्तराखंड में महिला कांस्टेबलों के 1474 पद बढ़ेंगे, CM धामी ने दी मंजूरी

CM Dhami: उत्तराखंड में जनपदीय पुलिस में महिला आरक्षियों के पदों की संख्या बढ़ाकर 2000 की जाएगी. मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इससे जुड़े प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है. फिलहाल जनपदीय पुलिस में महिला आरक्षियों के 526 पद स्वीकृत हैं. प्रस्ताव के तहत इनमें 1474 पदों की वृद्धि की जाएगी.

ये अतिरिक्त पद अन्य संवर्गों और शाखाओं में स्वीकृत पदों के सापेक्ष समायोजित किए जाएंगे. इस व्यवस्था का उद्देश्य महिला आरक्षियों के लिए सेवा के बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध कराना और उनके समायोजन का रास्ता आसान बनाना है.

कार्मिक विभाग ने इस प्रस्ताव पर कुछ शर्तों के साथ सहमति दी है. इसके तहत कुल स्वीकृत पदों की संख्या बढ़ाए बिना और कोई अतिरिक्त वित्तीय भार डाले बिना व्यवस्था लागू की जाएगी. साथ ही, वर्तमान में कार्यरत 1210 अधिसंख्य महिला आरक्षियों के समायोजन और भविष्य में उनकी पदोन्नति के अवसर सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उच्चतर पदों के पुनर्गठन का अलग प्रस्ताव भी उपलब्ध कराना होगा.

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इस प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी प्रदान की है। इस निर्णय से जनपदीय पुलिस में महिला आरक्षियों के पदों की संख्या में वृद्धि का मार्ग प्रशस्त होगा। साथ ही, वर्तमान में कार्यरत अधिसंख्य महिला आरक्षियों के समायोजन तथा उनके लिए भविष्य में पदोन्नति के अवसरों की व्यवस्था करने की दिशा में भी पहल की जाएगी।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रदेश की कानून-व्यवस्था को और अधिक सुदृढ़ बनाने तथा पुलिस बल में महिलाओं की भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हमारी सरकार निरंतर प्रयासरत है।हमारी सरकार का उद्देश्य महिला पुलिस कर्मियों को सेवा के बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध कराने के साथ ही उनके भविष्य को सुरक्षित और उज्ज्वल बनाना है।
