Trump did not extend the nuclear agreement with Russia. He neither extended it nor made a new agreement. The previous agreement was made by Obama. Was that why Trump didn't want to extend it? What other reason could there be? Of all that's happening in the world, the biggest news – that the nuclear treaty between the US and Russia expired and no new treaty was made – went largely unnoticed. But finally, the UN Secretary-General had to come forward and say, "What are you doing? The nuclear treaty between the US and Russia expired on February 5th, pay attention!" What could be more dangerous than the start of a new nuclear arms race? This isn't just a problem for one country. It's related to the security of the entire world.
