Others People flee burning building in Ukraine after Russian drone strike | BBC News
BBC NewsUkraine's National Academy of Sciences was hit by a Russian drone strike, killing one person and leaving three injured, according to city's mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. Footage showed people leaning out of windows as they evacuated the burning building. Firefighters helped people evacuate through the windows as a plume a black smoke billowed out of the building. The BBC's diplomatic correspondent Paul Adams was at the scene as emergency services attempted to stop the raging fire. Russia has been carrying out sustained attacks on Ukraine, with explosions reported in the capital Kyiv in the early hours of Tuesday morning, with several buildings damaged.
