The US has included India among 20 countries eligible for zero-tariff treatment on certain specialty pharmaceutical products and related ingredients. The categories include rare-disease medicines, fertility drugs, cell and gene therapies and antibody-drug conjugates. At the same time, a 100% tariff is being applied to certain patented pharmaceutical products.
