Samacharnamaनई दिल्ली, 28 सितंबर (आईएएनएस)। भारत का मत्स्य क्षेत्र पिछले एक दशक में तेजी से विकसित हुआ है और देश की ब्लू इकोनॉमी का महत्वपूर्ण आधार बनकर उभरा है। सरकार द्वारा सोमवार को जारी एक फैक्टशीट के अनुसार, देश का कुल मछली उत्पादन वर्ष 2013-14 के 9.6 मिलियन टन से बढ़कर वर्ष 2024-25 में 19.8 मिलियन टन तक पहुंच गया है। इसी दौरान अंतर्देशीय (इनलैंड) मत्स्य उत्पादन 6.1 मिलियन टन से बढ़कर 14.74 मिलियन टन हो गया, जो इस क्षेत्र में हुई उल्लेखनीय प्रगति को दर्शाता है।
