He has appealed to take special precautions during this period.मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र ने आज मंगलवार को प्रदेशभर में भारी बारिश का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। राज्य के जनपदों में भारी बारिश होने की चेतावनी दी है। बुधवार को भी प्रदेश में भारी बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की गई है। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के निदेशक डॉ विक्रम सिंह के मुताबिक मंगलवार को उत्तराखंड के चंपावत, नैनीताल, ऊधमसिंह नगर में कहीं-कहीं भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश होने की संभावना है। बाकी जनपदों में कहीं-कहीं भारी से भारी वर्षा हो सकती है। राज्य में कहीं-कहीं गर्जना के साथ बिजली चमकने एवं तीव्र दौर की वर्षा होगी। उन्होंने इस दौरान विशेष एहतियात बरतने की अपील की है।
