Amidst this, the Yogi government has made a major announcement concerning women. The government is working on a plan to provide financial assistance to approximately 10 million (1 crore) women in the state; under this initiative, eligible women will receive aid of ₹1 lakh each. This decision is being viewed as a significant step towards the economic empowerment of women.
