#pokprotest #kishoreajwani #pakistannews पाकिस्तान के क़ब्ज़े वाले कश्मीर में जो विद्रोह भड़का हुआ उसको दबाने के लिए पाकिस्तान ने वही पैंतरा अपनाया है जो उसने पूरा कश्मीर हड़पने के लिए 1947 में अपनाया था। उसने वहां जाने वाला खाने-पीने का सामान रोक दिया है, पेट्रोल-डीज़ल रोक दिया है। ताकि कश्मीरियों को मजबूर होकर उसके सामने झुकना पड़े। सौ बात की एक बात ये कि ज़्यादातर लोग ये जानते नहीं कि यही सेम कायराना पैंतरा 1947 में पाकिस्तान ने अपनाया था महाराजा हरि सिंह को मजबूर करने के लिए कि वो अपनी पूरी जम्मू कश्मीर रियासत का पाकिस्तान में विलय कर दें। क्योंकि आज पब्लिक जानती नहीं या जो जानते थे वो भी भूल चुके हैं कि जम्मू-कश्मीर जाने का कोई रास्ता ही नहीं था पाकिस्तान के अलावा। नक़्शा देखकर तो पब्लिक को लगता है कि भारत के बिलकुल सबसे ऊपर ही तो है जम्मू-कश्मीर। लेकिन जम्मू-कश्मीर के महाराजा हरि सिंह ने 15 अगस्त तक फ़ैसला नहीं लिया था कि वो पाकिस्तान के साथ जाएंगे या भारत के साथ जाएंगे या आज़ाद रहेंगे। क्योंकि कश्मीर तक पहुंचने का रास्ता ही उधर से था जहां पाकिस्तान बनने जा रहा था। जो पंजाब का हिस्सा भारत को मिलने वाला था वहां से कोई अच्छा पक्का रास्ता नहीं था। कश्मीर घाटी तक जो सड़क जाती थी वो थी झेलम वैली रोड। ये श्रीनगर से रावलपिंडी का हाइवे था। ट्रक और लॉरी और बसें वगैरह सिर्फ़ इसी रास्ते से जा सकते थे। और और आज की ज़्यादातर पब्लिक ये भी नहीं जानती कि ट्रेन का रास्ता भी नहीं था। वो भी उसी साइड से था। हमारी तरफ़ से तो रेल लाइन का आख़िरी स्टेशन पठानकोट था। जम्मू में जो रेलवे लाइन थी वो थी जम्मू से सियालकोट की। तो रावलपिंडी से रोड था और रावलपिंडी चला गया पाकिस्तान में। और सियालकोट से रेलवे लाइन थी लेकिन सियालकोट भी चला गया पाकिस्तान में। तो महाराजा हरि सिंह को तो ये देखना था कि जो ज़मीन को पाकिस्तान को दे दी थी अंग्रेज़ों ने, जम्मू-कश्मीर को तो भारत जाने के लिए भी वहीं से होकर जाना पड़ता। To suppress the rebellion that has erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan has adopted the same tactic it employed in 1947 to seize all of Kashmir. It has blocked the supply of food and other essential goods, and has blocked petrol and diesel, forcing Kashmiris to submit to its rule. The bottom line is that most people don't know that Pakistan employed this same cowardly tactic in 1947 to force Maharaja Hari Singh to merge his entire state of Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan. Today, the public doesn't know, or even those who did know have forgotten, that there was no way to reach Jammu and Kashmir except through Pakistan. Looking at the map, the public assumes that Jammu and Kashmir is at the very top of India. However, Maharaja Hari Singh of Jammu and Kashmir hadn't decided until August 15th whether he would join Pakistan, India, or remain independent. The only route to Kashmir was through the very territory of Pakistan. There was no good, paved road from the part of Punjab that was to be given to India. The road leading to the Kashmir Valley was the Jhelum Valley Road. It was the highway from Srinagar to Rawalpindi. Trucks, lorries, buses, etc. could only travel this way. And most of the public today doesn't even know that there wasn't a train route either. It was also on that side. On our side, the last station of the railway line was Pathankot. The railway line in Jammu was from Jammu to Sialkot. So, there was a road from Rawalpindi, and Rawalpindi went to Pakistan. And there was a railway line from Sialkot, but Sialkot also went to Pakistan.
