तीन मैचों की सीरीज़ में पहले ही 2-0 से आगे चल रही भारतीय पुरुष क्रिकेट टीम शनिवार (20 जून) को चेन्नई के एमए चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में अफ़गानिस्तान के ख़िलाफ़ तीसरा वनडे खेलेगी। शुभमन गिल की कप्तानी में, 'मेन इन ब्लू' अफ़गानिस्तान के ख़िलाफ़ अपनी पहली द्विपक्षीय वनडे सीरीज़ के आखिरी मैच में एक और शानदार प्रदर्शन करने और हशमतुल्लाह शाहिदी की कप्तानी वाली टीम का 'क्लीन स्वीप' करने की कोशिश करेगी।
अफ़गानिस्तान के ख़िलाफ़ तीसरे वनडे के लिए, BCCI ने शुक्रवार (19 जून) को हर्षित राणा को भारत की टीम में शामिल किया, और ऐसी संभावना है कि दिल्ली के यह तेज़ गेंदबाज़ शनिवार को प्लेइंग XI में शामिल हो सकते हैं। हर्षित ने नवंबर 2024 में पर्थ में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ़ टेस्ट मैच से भारत के लिए अपना इंटरनेशनल डेब्यू किया था। उन्होंने भारतीय टीम के लिए आखिरी बार फरवरी 2026 में नवी मुंबई में T20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 से पहले साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ़ एक वॉर्म-अप मैच खेला था। उस मैच में उन्हें चोट लग गई थी और वे पूरे टूर्नामेंट से बाहर हो गए थे।
