News18India China News: चीन ने तिब्बत में यारलुंग त्सांगपो नदी पर दुनिया के सबसे बड़े बांध का निर्माण शुरू कर दिया है. यह प्रोजेक्ट भारतीय सीमा से करीब 50 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित है. भारत को आशंका है कि इस बांध से ब्रह्मपुत्र नदी के जल प्रवाह, कृषि और पर्यावरण पर असर पड़ सकता है. अरुणाचल प्रदेश और असम में बाढ़ तथा जल संकट जैसी समस्याएं पैदा होने की चिंता जताई जा रही है. केंद्र सरकार ने कहा है कि वह चीन की हर गतिविधि पर नजर रख रही है और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में बाढ़ पूर्वानुमान, नदी निगरानी और आपदा प्रबंधन सिस्टम को मजबूत किया जा रहा है.
