A dispute over irrigating a field in Vikasnagar, Dehradun (Uttarakhand), escalated into a violent clash. A group of youths gathered in the village and launched a murderous attack on a young man named Vinod. Vinod, who was critically injured, died during treatment, while two other youths sustained serious injuries. Vinod was a Bajrang Dal leader. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital in a bloodied condition. As the incident involves two communities, tension has spread across the entire area.
