महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 में भारत ने अपने अभियान की शुरुआत शानदार अंदाज में की। एजबेस्टन में खेले गए मुकाबले में भारत ने पाकिस्तान को 64 रन से हराकर दमदार जीत दर्ज की। इस जीत की सबसे बड़ी हीरो रहीं ऑलराउंडर दीप्ति शर्मा, जिन्होंने अपने करियर का सर्वश्रेष्ठ गेंदबाजी प्रदर्शन करते हुए पाकिस्तान की बल्लेबाजी की कमर तोड़ दी।
दीप्ति ने 4 ओवर में सिर्फ 10 रन देकर 5 विकेट झटके और उन्हें प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच चुना गया। मैच के बाद उन्होंने अपनी सफलता का श्रेय टीम के साथ-साथ हनुमान जी को दिया। पुरस्कार लेने के बाद दीप्ति ने कहा, 'इस प्रदर्शन का पूरा श्रेय टीम को जाता है। मैं बहुत आभारी हूं। हनुमान जी महान हैं।'
पाकिस्तान की बल्लेबाजी बिखरी
उन्होंने कहा, 'मुझे इस तरह की पिच पर गेंदबाजी करना पसंद है। विकेट से टर्न मिल रहा था, इसलिए मैंने हर गेंद और हर ओवर में अपनी गति बदली। इससे मुझे काफी मदद मिली। मैं खुद पर भरोसा रखती हूं और गेंद को थोड़ा धीमा रखकर सही जगह पर डालने की कोशिश करती हूं।'
स्मृति-हरमनप्रीत की साझेदारी रही अहम
भारत की यह जीत इसलिए भी खास रही क्योंकि टीम ने अपने सबसे बड़े प्रतिद्वंद्वी पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ विश्व कप की शुरुआत जीत के साथ की। अब हरमनप्रीत कौर की कप्तानी वाली टीम अगले मुकाबलों में भी इसी लय को बरकरार रखना चाहेगी।
