Republic Bharatमुंबई के कुर्ला हिलटॉप इलाके में देर रात करीब 2:30 बजे पहाड़ी का एक बड़ा हिस्सा अचानक नीचे बनी चॉल पर आ गिरा, जिससे भीषण हादसा हो गया। इस दुर्घटना में अब तक 7 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है, जबकि 4 से 5 लोग घायल हैं और कुल 13 लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं। मौके पर एनडीआरएफ (NDRF) और मुंबई पुलिस का रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन युद्धस्तर पर जारी है। इस दर्दनाक घटना के बाद स्थानीय लोगों में भारी गुस्सा है और उन्होंने प्रशासन पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। लोगों का कहना है कि हर साल बारिश के मौसम में यहां ऐसी आपदाएं होती हैं, लेकिन बीएमसी (BMC) सिर्फ नोटिस देकर अपनी जिम्मेदारी से पल्ला झाड़ लेती है। पहले भी घर खाली करने के नोटिस दिए गए थे, लेकिन जनता का सवाल है कि "नोटिस मिलने के बाद वे जाएं तो कहां जाएं?" बार-बार शिकायत करने के बावजूद प्रशासन की ओर से इस समस्या का कोई स्थायी समाधान नहीं निकाला गया है। A major tragedy struck the Kurla hilltop area in Mumbai at around 2:30 AM when a portion of a hill suddenly collapsed onto a chawl below. The devastating accident has claimed the lives of 7 people so far, while 4 to 5 individuals are injured, affecting a total of about 13 people. Rescue operations by the NDRF and Mumbai Police are currently underway on a war footing. Enraged by the tragic incident, local residents have leveled serious allegations against the administration. They stated that such disasters occur every year during the monsoon season, but the BMC merely issues notices to shirk its responsibility. Although residents were previously given notices to vacate their homes, they raised a pressing question: "Where should we go after receiving the eviction notices?"
