Republic Bharatरांची में छात्रों का आंदोलन लगातार जारी है, जिसके तहत देर रात पुलिस भारी संख्या में बल के साथ आंदोलन स्थल पर पहुंच गई। आरोप है कि रात के 2 बजे तक छात्रों से पूछताछ कर उन्हें परेशान किया गया, जिसमें उनके नाम, पते और मोबाइल नंबर पूछे गए तथा JPSC-JSSC के एडमिट कार्ड मांगे गए। इस कार्रवाई के दौरान स्ट्रीट लाइट बंद कर दिए जाने से पूरे स्थल पर अंधेरा छा गया, और छात्राओं ने वहां महिला पुलिसकर्मियों की मौजूदगी को लेकर कड़े सवाल उठाए। इन मुश्किल हालातों के बीच मच्छरदानी लगाकर सोते हुए छात्रों की तस्वीरें भी सामने आई हैं। छात्रों ने दो टूक ऐलान कर दिया है कि जब तक उनकी मांगें पूरी नहीं होतीं, तब तक आंदोलन जारी रहेगा और जरूरत पड़ने पर 'जेल भरो आंदोलन' भी किया जाएगा। सरकार की चुप्पी से युवाओं में लगातार आक्रोश बढ़ रहा है, हालांकि छात्रों का साफ दावा है कि वे हिंसा का समर्थन नहीं करते और यह केवल उनके हक की लड़ाई है। The student protests in Ranchi have intensified as tensions rise between the administration and the youth.
