आईपीएल 2026 में रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु के अनुभवी तेज गेंदबाज भुवनेश्वर कुमार एक बार फिर अपनी घातक गेंदबाजी से चर्चा में बने हुए हैं। मुंबई इंडियंस के खिलाफ खेले गए मुकाबले में भुवनेश्वर ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए चार ओवर में सिर्फ 23 रन देकर 4 विकेट हासिल किए। उनके इस दमदार प्रदर्शन के बाद भारतीय टीम में वापसी की चर्चाएं तेज हो गई थीं, लेकिन अब खुद भुवी ने इस पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है।
मौजूद जानकारी के अनुसार भुवनेश्वर कुमार ने कहा कि वह फिलहाल टीम इंडिया में वापसी के बारे में नहीं सोच रहे हैं। उन्होंने साफ तौर पर कहा कि अब वह लंबे समय के लक्ष्य नहीं बनाते, क्योंकि पहले ऐसा करने पर उन्हें निराशा हाथ लगी थी। उनका पूरा ध्यान सिर्फ वर्तमान प्रदर्शन और अपने खेल पर बना हुआ है।
भुवनेश्वर कुमार ने कहा कि उन्हें खुशी है कि उन्होंने अपने करियर में 200 से ज्यादा मुकाबले खेले और पावरप्ले तथा डेथ ओवरों में लगातार विकेट हासिल किए। उन्होंने माना कि पिछले कुछ सालों की मेहनत का ही यह परिणाम हैं। भुवी ने यह भी कहा कि क्रिकेट करियर में अच्छे और बुरे दोनों दौर आते हैं और उन्होंने हर परिस्थिति से सीखने की कोशिश की है।
गौरतलब है कि आईपीएल 2026 में भुवनेश्वर कुमार अब तक शानदार लय में नजर आए हैं। उन्होंने 11 मुकाबलों में 21 विकेट अपने नाम किए हैं। इसी के साथ वह आईपीएल इतिहास में चौथी बार किसी एक सीजन में 20 या उससे ज्यादा विकेट लेने वाले गेंदबाज भी बन गए हैं।
अगर मुकाबले की बात करें तो रायपुर में खेले गए इस रोमांचक मैच में मुंबई इंडियंस ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 20 ओवर में 7 विकेट पर 166 रन बनाए थे। टीम के लिए तिलक वर्मा ने अहम अर्धशतकीय पारी खेली थीं। जवाब में रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु ने आखिरी गेंद तक चले मुकाबले में 8 विकेट खोकर लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया था।
बता दें कि इस जीत में गेंदबाजी के अलावा क्रुणाल पांड्या की तूफानी बल्लेबाजी ने भी अहम भूमिका निभाई थीं। वहीं आखिरी ओवर में भुवनेश्वर कुमार ने बल्ले से भी उपयोगी योगदान देकर टीम को जीत दिलाने में मदद की थीं।
मौजूद जानकारी के अनुसार रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु फिलहाल अंक तालिका में 14 अंकों और +1.103 नेट रन रेट के साथ पहले स्थान पर बनी हुई हैं। टीम को प्लेऑफ में जगह पक्की करने के लिए अब अपने बचे हुए तीन मुकाबलों में सिर्फ एक जीत की जरूरत है।
