Dainik Bhaskarओल्ड पेंशन स्कीम (OPS) को बहाल करने को लेकर सरकार का रुख पूरी तरह साफ हो गया है। केंद्र सरकार ने लोकसभा में स्पष्ट किया है कि OPS को वापस लागू करने का फिलहाल कोई प्रस्ताव विचाराधीन नहीं है। सरकार ने इसके पीछे सरकारी खजाने पर पड़ने वाले वित्तीय बोझ को मुख्य वजह बताया है। केंद्रीय वित्त राज्य मंत्री पंकज चौधरी ने लोकसभा में एक लिखित जवाब में बताया कि राजस्थान, छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, पंजाब और हिमाचल प्रदेश की राज्य सरकारों ने नेशनल पेंशन सिस्टम (NPS) से पुरानी पेंशन योजना में वापस जाने के बारे में केंद्र सरकार और पेंशन फंड नियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण को सूचित किया था।
