नई दिल्ली. मुंबई इंडियंस के मुख्य कोच माहेला जयवर्धने ने माना कि राजस्थान रॉयल्स के ओपनर यशस्वी जायसवाल और वैभव सूर्यवंशी की शानदार बल्लेबाजी के सामने उनकी टीम आईपीएल मैच में बुरी तरह हार गई. उन्होंने कहा कि गेंदबाजों ने सही लाइन और लेंथ नहीं रखी, यहां तक कि जसप्रीत बुमराह भी थोड़ी लेंथ से चूक गए. बारिश से प्रभावित इस मैच में राजस्थान रॉयल्स ने मुंबई इंडियंस को 27 रन से हराया. जायसवाल और सूर्यवंशी की तूफानी बल्लेबाजी से राजस्थान ने 11 ओवर में तीन विकेट पर 150 रन बनाए. जवाब में मुंबई इंडियंस की टीम नौ विकेट पर 123 रन ही बना पाई. कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के खिलाफ जीत के साथ सत्र की शुरुआत करने वाली मुंबई इंडियंस की यह लगातार दूसरी हार थी. जयवर्धने ने मैच के बाद कहा, हमारा प्रदर्शन अच्छा नहीं रहा और हमें इस पर काम करना होगा. हमने अपनी रणनीति बनाई थी लेकिन उस पर सही से अमल नहीं कर पाए. सूर्यवंशी और जायसवाल बहुत अच्छी बल्लेबाजी कर रहे हैं. हमें खतरे का अहसास था, खासकर जब बारिश के कारण ओवर कम हो गए थे, क्योंकि ऐसे में शुरुआत से ही आक्रामक बल्लेबाजी की छूट मिल जाती है. उन्होंने कहा, पहले चार-पांच ओवर हमारे लिए बहुत जरूरी थे. मुझे लगता है कि हम अपनी लेंथ और लाइन से भटक गए. उन्होंने बहुत अच्छी बल्लेबाजी की. जयवर्धने ने कहा कि बुमराह जैसे गेंदबाज को भी राजस्थान के दोनों ओपनरों के आक्रामक रवैये के सामने संघर्ष करना पड़ा, जिन्होंने मिलकर पहले पांच ओवर में 80 रन बना दिए. जायसवाल ने 32 गेंदों पर नाबाद 77 रन और सूर्यवंशी ने 14 गेंदों पर 39 रन बनाए. उन्होंने कहा, मुझे लगता है कि हम सभी पिछले साल से ही सूर्यवंशी की प्रतिभा जानते थे. बुमराह शायद थोड़ी लेंथ चूक गए और सूर्यवंशी ने इसका फायदा उठाया. आगे देखना होगा कि वह अपना प्रदर्शन कैसे बेहतर करते हैं. लेकिन उन्होंने हमारे गेंदबाजों की जमकर धुनाई की. जयवर्धने ने कहा, जायसवाल की पारी भी बहुत अहम रही. पहले तीन ओवर में उन्होंने खूब रन बनाए और आखिर तक टिके रहे.
