At least nine people were killed when a fire broke out inside the coach of a passenger train here. Apart from this, 20 others were seriously injured. Railway sources said that the incident took place on the Lucknow-Rameswaram Express. Southern Railway has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to the family of those who died in the accident. Sources said that all the 10 victims were residents of Uttar Pradesh. It has been told that there were a total of 55 passengers in the coach that caught fire.Train Fire News : तमिलनाडु के मदुरै रेलवे स्टेशन (Madurai Railway Station in Tamil Nadu) पर शनिवार सुबह बड़ा हादसा हो गया। यहां एक यात्री ट्रेन के कोच के अंदर आग लगने से कम से कम 9 लोगों की मौत हो गई। इसके अलावा 20 अन्य गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। रेलवे सूत्रों ने बताया कि यह घटना लखनऊ-रामेश्वरम एक्सप्रेस (Lucknow-Rameswaram Express) पर हुई। दक्षिणी रेलवे ने हादसे में मरने वालों के परिवार को दस-दस लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि देने की घोषणा की है। सूत्रों ने बताया कि सभी 10 पीड़ित उत्तर प्रदेश के रहने वाले थे। बताया गया है कि जिस कोच में आग लगी उसमें कुल 55 यात्री थे।
