लखनऊ सुपर जाएंट्स के खिलाफ सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद के बल्लेबाज भले ही कमाल नहीं कर पाए हो लेकिन फिर भी टीम ने इतिहास रच दिया। दरअसल, इस मुकाबले में सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद ने 30 रनों के अंदर 4 विकेट गंवा दिए थे। इसके बाद भी सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद ने 156 रन बना दिए। इसके साथ ही हैदराबाद के नाम एक बड़ा रिकॉर्ड हो गया है। आईपीएल के इतिहास में 30 रनों के अंदर 4 विकेट गिरने के बाद इतना बड़ा रिकॉर्ड बनाने वाली हैदराबाद पहली टीम बन गई है।
इससे पहले आईपीएल में 30 रनों के अंदर 4 विकेट गंवाने के बाद सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने का रिकॉर्ड गुजरात टाइटंस के नाम था। गुजरात ने आईपीएल 2023 ें 29 रनों पर 4 विकेट गंवाने के बाद 154 रन बना दिए थे। वहीं सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद ने 26 रनों पर चार विकेट गंवाने के बाद 156 रन बना दिए, जो आईपीएल में 30 रनों के अंदर चार विकेट गंवाने के बाद किसी भी टीम का सबसे बड़ा स्कोर है।
एसआरएच ने पावरप्ले यानी शुरुआती 6 ओवर में सिर्फ 22 रन बनाए थे। 10 ओवर में टीम का स्कोर 35 रन था। ऐसा लग रहा था कि हैदराबाद की टीम 100 तक भी नहीं पहुंच पाएगी लेकिन हेनरिक क्लासेन और नितीश कुमार रेड्डी की जोड़ी ने पांचवें विकेट के लिए 116 रनों की साझेदारी की और इतिहास रच दिया। क्लासेन ने 41 गेंद में 62 रन तो रेड्डी ने 33 गेंद में 56 रन बनाए।
