Palestinians have expressed mixed reactions to the possibility of a change in government. Huda al-Houli, a displaced resident of Gaza, fears that a more hardline leader could bring even greater destruction. Meanwhile, Ahmed Awad, a resident of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, believes that changing the prime minister may not significantly alter Israel's policies towards Palestinians. Arab-led parties have secured a historic 19 seats, potentially giving them a crucial role in government formation. President Isaac Herzog confirmed that 67 lawmakers recommended opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot, while 46 backed Netanyahu. Netanyahu has warned that a government dependent on Arab parties would threaten Israel's security. However, no new government has been formed yet.
