NZ vs SA 1st T20I Highlights: नए खिलाड़ियों से सजी साउथ अफ्रीका ने शानदार शुरुआत करते हुए 5 मैच की सीरीज के पहले टी20 में न्यूजीलैंड को 7 विकेट से हरा दिया। पहले मैच में साउथ अफ्रीका के डेब्यू गेंदबाज नक़ोबानी मोकाएना ने शानदार प्रदर्शन किया और न्यूजीलैंड की बल्लेबाजी पूरी तरह बिखर गई। न्यूजीलैंड की टीम सिर्फ 15 ओवर के अंदर ही ढेर हो गई। यह टी20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय में उनका दसवां सबसे कम स्कोर रहा।
इस मुकाबले में साउथ अफ्रीका की टीम बिल्कुल नए रूप में मैदान पर उतरी थी। टीम के स्टैंड-इन कप्तान केशव महाराज ही ऐसे खिलाड़ी थे जो 11 दिन पहले खेले गए टी20 वर्ल्ड कप सेमीफाइनल में भी टीम का हिस्सा थे। उस मैच में न्यूजीलैंड ने साउथ अफ्रीका को हराया था, लेकिन इस बार कहानी पूरी तरह बदल गई। टीम में चार खिलाड़ियों को डेब्यू का मौका मिला और उन्होंने शानदार प्रदर्शन किया।
पावरप्ले में ही न्यूजीलैंड की हालत खराब
पावरप्ले के पहले छह ओवर में ही न्यूजीलैंड की आधी टीम पवेलियन लौट गई। टीम का स्कोर 36 रन पर 5 विकेट हो चुका था। न्यूजीलैंड की ओर से सबसे ज्यादा रन जिमी नीशम ने बनाए। उन्होंने 26 रन की पारी खेली। उनकी और कोले मैक्कोनी के बीच 26 रन की साझेदारी ही टीम की सबसे बड़ी साझेदारी रही। पूरी टीम 15 ओवर से पहले ही ऑलआउट हो गई।
छोटे लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए साउथ अफ्रीका को उम्मीद से थोड़ी ज्यादा मेहनत करनी पड़ी। न्यूजीलैंड के गेंदबाजों ने किफायती गेंदबाजी की। कप्तान मिचेल सैंटनर ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए चार ओवर में सिर्फ 8 रन देकर 1 विकेट लिया। हालांकि साउथ अफ्रीका की ओर से एक और नए खिलाड़ी कोनोर ने 48 गेंदों में 45 रन बनाकर पारी को संभाले रखा और टीम को जीत तक पहुंचा दिया।
मैच के दौरान साउथ अफ्रीका को भी चोट की चिंता का सामना करना पड़ा। ओपनर जोर्डन हरमैन को फील्डिंग के दौरान हैमस्ट्रिंग में खिंचाव आ गया और उन्हें बल्लेबाजी नहीं करनी पड़ी। वहीं न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाड़ी बेवन जेकोब्स भी कैच लेने की कोशिश में घुटने में चोट लगने के बाद मैदान छोड़कर बाहर चले गए। इससे पहले दिन में न्यूजीलैंड की महिला टीम ने साउथ अफ्रीका को 80 रन से हराया था, ऐसे में सुपर संडे पर दोनों टीमों के बीच जीत का बंटवारा हो गया।
