West Asia Tensions: Rajnath Singh ने कहा 'Middle East की स्थिति बहुत ही असामान्य है', Global Supply
रक्षा मंत्री Rajnath Singh ने Kolkata में Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers और The Week द्वारा आयोजित Sagar Sankalp Maritime Conclave को संबोधित करते हुए West Asia में बढ़ते तनाव पर गहरी चिंता जताई. उन्होंने कहा कि Middle East में जो स्थिति है वह बहुत ही असामान्य है और आगे चलकर परिस्थितियां किस दिशा में जाएंगी इस पर कोई concrete prediction करना कठिन है. Rajnath Singh ने Strait of Hormuz और Persian Gulf क्षेत्र को विश्व की Energy Security का अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्र बताया और कहा कि इस क्षेत्र में disturbance या disruption का सीधा असर oil और gas की supply पर पड़ता है. रक्षा मंत्री ने चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि जो abnormality है वह नया normal बनती जा रही है. उन्होंने Supply Chain Disruption का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि इन uncertainties का सीधा प्रभाव economy और global trade पर पड़ता है.
