जर्मनी का मशहूर अक्टूबरफेस्ट सिर्फ बीयर के लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि इसकी रिकॉर्ड तोड़ खपत के लिए भी जाना जाता है. करीब 200 साल पुराने इस फेस्टिवल में हर साल लाखों लोग पहुंचते हैं और लाखों लीटर बीयर की खपत होती है. समय के साथ बीयर की बिक्री लगातार बढ़ी है, हालांकि इसके साथ कीमतों में भी इजाफा हुआ है. आज अक्टूबरफेस्ट की लोकप्रियता इतनी बढ़ चुकी है कि इसकी तर्ज पर दुनिया भर में चार हजार से अधिक बीयर फेस्टिवल आयोजित किए जाते हैं. Germany's Oktoberfest is famous not only for its beer but also for the staggering amount consumed every year. At this nearly 200-year-old festival, beer consumption has continued to grow as millions of visitors gather to celebrate. While beer sales have risen over the decades, so have prices. Today, Oktoberfest has become so popular worldwide that more than 4,000 beer festivals inspired by it are held across the globe.
