On this occasion, the Union Cabinet passed a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his long public life and several major decisions and policy initiatives taken during his tenure as head of government. The Cabinet resolution highlighted key national security decisions, including the Surgical Strikes, Air Strikes, Operation Sindoor, the abrogation of Article 370, and the creation of the post of Chief of Defence Staff (CDS). It also highlighted the government's efforts to tackle insurgency in the northeastern states and the Naxal problem, along with India's growing global role and international engagement, including the G20 Summit.
