Pakistan Navy की एक यूनिट और भारतीय नौसेना के पोत के बीच उत्तरी अरब सागर में टक्कर के बाद भारत ने कड़ा विरोध दर्ज कराया। विदेश मंत्रालय ने नई दिल्ली में पाकिस्तान High Commission के Charge d’Affaires को तलब किया और पाकिस्तानी नौसैनिक इकाइयों के व्यवहार को “अस्वीकार्य और गैर-पेशेवर” बताया। भारत के मुताबिक घटना अंतरराष्ट्रीय जलक्षेत्र में हुई और कोई बड़ा नुकसान नहीं हुआ। MEA ने 1991 के भारत-पाकिस्तान समझौते के प्रावधानों का भी हवाला दिया है। India has lodged a strong protest after a Pakistani naval unit collided with an Indian Navy vessel in the northern Arabian Sea.
