रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (ICC) ने बांग्लादेश की उस रिक्वेस्ट को खारिज कर दिया है जिसमें उसने ICC मेन्स T20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 के अपने मैच भारत से बाहर शिफ्ट करने की मांग की थी। बांग्लादेश क्रिकेट बोर्ड (BCB) ने रविवार (4 जनवरी) को एक रिलीज़ जारी की, जिसमें बोर्ड ने कहा कि उसने ICC से औपचारिक रूप से रिक्वेस्ट की है कि भारत में होने वाले इस शॉर्टेस्ट-फॉर्मेट मेगा-इवेंट के ग्रुप C के मैच कहीं और शिफ्ट कर दिए जाएं। लेकिन मंगलवार रात (6 जनवरी) को ESPNCricinfo की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, ICC ने BCB की रिक्वेस्ट को खारिज कर दिया है।
