Following the tragic incident in Satya Niketan, the Delhi government has initiated strict action. The MCD Deputy Commissioner, Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer, Assistant Engineer, and Junior Engineer have been suspended with immediate effect. Meanwhile, the building's owner has been arrested. The government has issued directives to immediately seal five-story buildings constructed without authorization across Delhi. Thorough inspections of nearby PGs and other buildings are also being conducted; strict action, including sealing, will be taken if any violations are found.
