BBC NewsIt has been just over two weeks since a crash on the A66 duel carriageway near Middlesborough, which killed seven people - including two police officers. The BBC's Ed Thomas has travelled to the Grangetown area of the city, which, along with the South Bank area, has been the focus of a large police operation into organised crime following the tragedy. Speaking exclusively to the BBC, Cleveland Police's Chief Constable Victoria Fuller has said she is proud of her "brave" force but that it was being "let down" by the way it was funded, following the fatal crash. She said her officers are dealing with some of the highest crime levels in the country akin to those faced by metropolitan forces, but with less than half the number of officers.
