Republic Bharatइलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने 'गुस्ताख़-ए-नबी की एक सज़ा, सर तन से जुदा' (पैगंबर का अपमान करने पर एक ही सज़ा: सिर कलम करना) नारे को भारत के कानून, संप्रभुता और अखंडता को चुनौती करार दिया है। जस्टिस अरुण कुमार सिंह देशवाल ने फैसला सुनाया कि इस नारे का जाप विद्रोह को भड़काता है और यह भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 152 के तहत दंडनीय है। अदालत ने एक जमानत याचिका खारिज करते हुए कहा कि इस नारे का दुरुपयोग दूसरों को डराने और राज्य के अधिकार को चुनौती देने के लिए किया जाता है, जो भक्तिपूर्ण धार्मिक पुकारों से अलग है। यह फैसला बरेली में हुई हिंसा से संबंधित एक जमानत याचिका पर आया है। The Allahabad High Court has declared the slogan 'Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek saza, sar tan se juda' (Only one punishment for insulting the Prophet: beheading) as a challenge to India's law, sovereignty, and integrity. Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal ruled that chanting this slogan incites rebellion and is punishable under Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). While rejecting a bail plea, the court stated that this slogan is misused to intimidate others and challenge the authority of the State, distinguishing it from devotional religious calls.
